Alex kom til Loop med IT-bakgrunn, men uten praktisk erfaring fra arbeidslivet. Gjennom et strukturert og logisk opplegg fikk han et solid faglig grunnlag i fullstack-utvikling, med en stack som viste seg å være identisk med det han møtte hos sin nåværende arbeidsgiver.

Even Stetrud

Programming in finance

Even originally aimed for backend, but discovered frontend along the way.

At Storebrand he has built web apps for sensitive situations, gaining ownership and responsibility early on.

"There's something about frontend that gives immediate value. Either it works, or it doesn't!"

Marianne Mytting

Web development and a safe transition

Marianne found her place between code and clients through Loop Academy.

She points to the safe transition into working life as the most valuable thing she took away.

"I found my place between code and clients - and a safe way into working life."

Susanne Gulbrandsen

Fullstack and health tech

Susanne is completing a bachelor in computer engineering at OsloMet, with broad skills across web, databases, networks, and security.

For her bachelor project she is building a patient mobile app for Fürst Medisinske Laboratorium.

"I take the time to understand why things work, not just how."

Thomas Jonsson

Control systems and embedded software

Thomas is taking a master's in cybernetics and robotics at NTNU, after a bachelor in automation and robotics.

With a background as an electrician apprentice, he is as comfortable with circuit boards and firmware as with code.

"I'm at my best where software, electronics, and mechanics meet."

Aida Skarvatun

Research data and machine learning

Aida holds a bachelor in informatics from the University of Bergen and is now taking master's courses in data science at NMBU.

For her bachelor project she built an interactive map tool for research data together with Synoptic Arctic Survey.

"I like understanding how things connect, and building something useful for the people who use it."

Philip Buhrs

Systems development and security

Philip holds a bachelor in informatics from the University of Oslo, specialising in programming and systems architecture.

A semester at Korea University in Seoul gave him experience with new academic environments and ways of working.

"I'm driven by learning, understanding, and improving, both the code and the way I work."

Magnus Axelsen

Theoretical physics and data analysis

Magnus holds a master's in theoretical physics from the University of Oslo, specialising in quantum information and gravitational theory.

As a research assistant he developed deep-learning-based image compression of solar observations, reaching 95:1 compression.

"I like work that demands structured thinking and doing things thoroughly."

Frøy Øye

From the lab to development

Frøy holds a bachelor in biomedical laboratory science, but changed direction and is now completing information technology at OsloMet.

For her bachelor project she is training an AI model that detects sponsor logos in football matches for Forzasys.

"I'm motivated by seeing concrete results from the work I put in."

Eskil Skogsholm

Autonomous systems and navigation

Eskil is completing a master's in applied robotics at NMBU, specialising in robot programming and machine learning.

His master's thesis covers deep learning and robot navigation in forest environments without GPS.

"I'm motivated by understanding technical problems in depth and building something that works in practice."
